YOUTH CONSERVATION AND LEADERSHIP CORPS (Y.C.L.C.)
Y.C.L.C. is an outdoor summer employment program. Youth participants work on projects that develop and
improve sites within Bloom Township and the Forest
Preserve District. The youth also engage in structured group activities and field trips that enhance communication,
problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Bloom Township's Youth and Family Services Department is dedicated to empowering its youth and families to lead positive, healthy lives by providing services, programs, and resources which meet the diverse needs of our communities.
The first commitment of the Bloom Township Youth Department is to provide a continuum of counseling, education and support services to individuals, families, and the communities in which they live.
We will continually strive to improve the quality of life in the Bloom Township community through active with other educational organizations, agencies and projects supportive of our first commitment.
The programs are implemented by a staff of trained professionals who share an interest and involvement in assisting young people.
